Personal Description
A little about me: My mom is from El Salvador and my dad from Haiti. I've got waist length dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. I'm currently completing a bachelor's degree in Mass communication/Broadcasting. I've got 4 classes and an internship to go! I graduate in December - WOO HOO! Wish me luck! One of my dreams in addition to making it big as a famous model (Ha Ha. I'm still a guppie in the ocean!) has always been to become a news anchor, a TV entertainment journalist, or a TV show hostess! I'm a published journalist, having written for the Miami Herald's Neighbors section. I love being in the spotlight, where all the action is! Although I'm originally from California, I grew up in Miami and EL Salvador. I speak fluent Spanish. I currently reside in sunny South Beach, Florida with my 21 (just lost a few pounds) pound cat named Harley (I know what you're thinking...he's not fat! He's just big boned.) I love the fact that I'm a minute away from the ocean and the hottest restaurants and nightclubs in South Florida. In my leisure time,I love to spend time with Darren, my boyfriend (He's the hottest and most awesome man), shopping, drinking wine and hanging out with my friends (they are so cool and the craziest, sexiest and most loyal bunch you'll ever meet!) I love to cook for my family and friends (my favorite is Vietnamese and thanks to Kristi, my fine Asian Soul Sista', I'm mastering the art of cooking Vietnamese cuisine pretty quickly)! I love to travel. That's one of the reasons that I love modeling! Modeling gives me the opportunity to travel to exciting locales and allows me to meet the coolest and most wonderful people. I'm a lucky girl and I'm very fortunate to be one that is privy to working in this industry. I take pride in everything that I do and I take all of my assignments very seriously, no matter how big or small or whether it pays $50 or $5000! If I commit to an assigment I give it my all and will put all of my energy and passion into it! I'm easy to work with! I'm always on time and have a cheerful, fun, upbeat, creative, spunky but yet a very professional attitude. I've also been chosen as the Miss June '05 Cover model for America Undiscovered.com. I'm also pretty busy working on items to sell on my store. It will be up soon! I'm also working on a 2006 Claudia Verela calendar to be out during the summer! It's a lot of fun an hard work. I'll be sure to keep you posted!
